RHBPC was asked to investigate the planning options for a large, dilapidated multi-family site. The solution, in consultation with the Village of Port Chester, provides 11 3-bedroom townhouse units in two buildings facing onto a central courtyard. The proposed plan evolved into an in-fill project under a previously unused section of the Village’s zoning code. Parking for all units is provided on site, making use of the existing topography to conceal some of the cars under one of the buildings. Architectural details and massing, drawn from the neighborhood, help to blend the new development into the community.
