RHBPC was asked by a private client to design a luxury, high-rise development on 2.5 acres of waterfront real estate in the City of New Rochelle, NY. The proposal is constrained by extensive regulation of development along New Rochelle Creek, which leads to the Long Island Sound. The design process has resulted in a 195,000 s.f., three-building scheme over a parking garage. Units range in size from one-bedroom to three-bedrooms with home office/den. All 120 luxury units have views of the Creek, marinas and those on upper floors will have views of the Long Island Sound. Amenities would include private marina, clubhouse, and gated entrance, among others.
