Jay E. Hanseman, AIA, LEED AP
Jay serves as Project Architect and Designer at RHBPC and has over twelve years of experience in a wide variety of project types involving both domestic and international work. Jay brings a diverse range of professional experience including institutional, retail, multi-family and single-family residential experience.
Prior to joining RHBPC, Mr. Hanseman was project architect with the international firm RTKL Associates, where he was involved with the master-planning and project delivery for live/work mixed-use communities involving multi-family residential, hospitality, and retail/entertainment, both in the United States and in Dubai, UAE.
Jay has extensive experience with coordinating complex projects that require thorough documentation including the 120-bed Essex County Hospital Center and the 426-bed North Carolina Dorthea Dix Replacement Hospital while working with the international firm Cannon Design. Jay also has experience with single-family residential projects located throughout the Chesapeake Bay area.
Jay serves as Project Architect and oversees design, project coordination, and documentation within the office. In addition, he supports an active community role within the profession, working with the Neighborhood Design Center, which recently won project of the year award for the renovation of the Baltimore Health Clinics.
